FAQs

FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Do you take insurance?

A. We do not accept insurance for office visits or procedures.

Q. Why don’t you take insurance?

A. With increased restrictions and decreased reimbursement from insurers, physicians are forced to spend less time with patients which can lead to sub-optimal care.

Q. Do I directly pay you?

A. Yes, just like you may pay your accountant, lawyer, veterinarian, or orthodontist.

Q. Can I use my insurance somehow?

A. Check with your health insurance provider about out-of-network benefits. These out-of-network benefits are typically 50-80% of your bill. You pay us at the beginning of your visit and we will give you an itemized bill to submit to your insurance carrier. This does not apply to Medicaid or Medicare.

Q. Can I use my insurance to cover prescribed medications, lab tests, or imaging?

A. Yes.

Q. Can I use my HSA or FSA debit card?

A. Yes, our services are qualified medical expenses.

Q. What to expect on first visit?

A. We will request your credit card information to schedule your appointment and will bill you when you check in. You will need your insurance card for any prior authorizations for medications/treatments. We don’t bill your insurance for visits or procedures. Please bring any important medical records, imaging (CD), and lab work. Faxing them to our office ahead of time will save you valuable time.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

A. Patients will be charged the full amount of the visit unless they cancel 48 hours or more in advance for new patients, or 24 hours or more in advance for established patients.

Q. What is the late policy?

A. Patients arriving late may only be seen during their regularly scheduled appointment time and have their appointment times cut short. If you arrive too late, you may be asked to reschedule. Late patients are charged the full fee for their scheduled service.

Q. What is the no show policy?

A. Patients who do not show for their scheduled appointment will be charged the full amount of the visit.

Q. Do you see patients outside of Nebraska through telehealth?

A. No, at this time telehealth services are for patients who are physically located in Nebraska. Patients who live outside Nebraska will need to be seen in-person.
